A few words from Antonia…
Each day we will do a nourishing practice to free up your breathing and bring you back to your essential nature. Classes will incorporate a Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga yoga and we will cover foundation and classic postures, asana combinations, correct alignment, and pranayama techniques.
All levels and abilities of yoga students are welcome…beginners will find a safe and nurturing environment to begin their yoga journey while more advanced students can maintain and deepen their practice Emphasizing the body-mind connection, the physical asanas maintain a healthy body through improved flexibility, stamina and strength, while pranayama, the yogic art of breathing, balances the emotions and calms the mind. Each class finishes with a short guided meditation. Morning yoga classes (Surya flow) are more active, energizing, while evening classes are more relaxed pace and restorative. We will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where people can relax, be themselves, and have some fun.
About Antonia Mikulandra:
Antonia grew up in Split and, at an early age, she showed strong interest for movement which was followed then by engaging actively in dancing lessons and various other sport activities. Graduated at university of kinesiology and as a professional rower and member of university she enters in the world of fitness.
Since 2005. she starts to teach different fitness programs where she gains experience in working with athletes and people who are in the process of rehabilitation. First she deeply falls in love with pilates technique that she still teaches and practice with huge dedication and love. In pursuit for new knowledge and work on herself she discovers a deep connection with spirituality and its interconnectedness to the physical body. The life path leads her to Indian studies which include different yoga styles: vinyasa flow, ashtanga, prana flow…
Afterwards she successfully finishes teacher training and becomes RYT200. Since then, she has passionately created a platform to help people truly understand their structure and function internally and externally, to find purpose on their path, and to explore what they have to give the world.
Antonia opened BODYFLOW pilates&yoga center in Split in 2012., where she leads and organizes public classes and workshops as well as Yoga Teacher Training with her teacher and friend Snježana Nina Vukas in whom she finds inspiration, support and huge resource of knowledge.
Her classes are a fluid blend of all of her inspiring education, and her own natural instinct. She teaches her students strength and adaptability in their movement practice, and in all aspects of life. Classes are a strong vinyasa flow, emphasizing the breath / body connection, while freeing the mind of judgment and distraction. She is grateful for her training from numerous guides on her path.
